5. Finish a home project: Have you been waiting for a good time to redecorate your bathroom, paint your living room, or clean out your garage? Now is a good time! Turn on your favorite radio station (WTLC) and have a day dedicated to finishing home projects getting rid of any junk or clutter so you enter fall feeling refreshed and loving your home.

4. Take vacation days at work: The summer flew by faster than any of us thought it would. You may have a couple vacation days you haven’t used up a work. A day off would be a nice way to close out the summer, right?

3. Go for a romantic drive/walk: Before the streets and trees are covered with debris and snow, take a minute to appreciate your surroundings in a serene setting. Take a drive or even a romantic walk. You really don’t have to talk but simply spend time enjoying each other’s company before the new season arrives. Even if you don’t have a significant other, go by yourself and do some reflecting just in time for autumn. Just start driving or walking and see where the road leads you. You just might explore something new :)

2. Have a movie day: You don’t have to leave the house to enjoy the last days of summer. Pull out your favorite pajamas and pop in the movies you love best… and enjoy :) Watch the movies that make you laugh and make you cry. Sometimes it’s the little things like this that makes the best memories.

1. Make a new commitment to yourself: No, it’s not new years. But that doesn’t mean you can’t have a resolution. The end of summer may be the best time to reflect on what you don’t want to bring into the fall.
