It was a Malibu wedding for “Think Like a Man” actress Meagan Good, who married her fiance ColumbiaPictures VP (Rev.) DeVon Franklin on Saturday. The couple wed at Triunfo Creek Winery in Malibu, California, and featured a Spanish and bayou theme. Over 400 guests attended the ceremony.

Franklin says of his new bride, “I’ve never had more peace, fun, and joy than I’ve had with her.”

Good wore a custom-made R-Mine gown with a purple train, which she describes as “handsome.” “I didn’t want girly, I wanted handsome. It’s got a bit of a masculine feel to it. I wanted something that felt a tad bit rebellious and out of the ordinary. That felt closer to my personality.” Purple and gold were the colors of the night, which had a Spanish and bayou theme.

“DeVon makes me better, makes my life fuller, and completes my quality of life,” the actress says. “He’s truly on my team and I am truly on his. God revealed my heart to him like nobody else.”

30 year old Good, started out as a young actress in the 1997 film “Eve’s Bayou” and she has also had roles in “Stomp the Yard,” “Biker Boyz,” “Californication” and “Jumping the Broom.” 33 year old Franklin, is an executive for Columbia Pictures and a preacher. The ceremony featured purple roses, tulips and rustic gold and a Southern Girl Desserts cake with flavors like sweet potato and peach cobbler.

The two reportedly met six years ago but only began dating after the actress finished shooting the 2011 film “Jumping the Broom.” The actress has a role in the upcoming NBC series “Infamous” and plans to go on an extended honeymoon after filming has wrapped.

Good plans to keep her last name professionally but will go by Franklin legally. They plan to wait to have kids so they can “get to know each other as husband and wife,” Franklin says.

Brown is planning to get married today in Hawaii, tying the knot with fiancé Alicia Etheridge. Brown and Etheridge have been engaged for two years; the couple dated for three years after he and Whitney Houston split.

Brown announced his wedding plans to an audience at his New Edition concert in Honolulu on Sunday night. Etheridge, as well as two of Brown’s children from a previous relationship, LaPrincia and Bobby Jr., joined him on stage.

It’s unclear if his daughter with Houston, Bobbi Kristina, will attend the wedding. She’s rumored to be staying in New York to work on her Lifetime reality series. Bobbi Kristina was not at the concert, leading many to believe that she’ll be a no-show to the wedding.

It seems Brown likes to use the stage for his important announcements — he proposed to Etheridge in 2010 on stage at Funk Fest. Brown and Etheridge have one child together, Cassius.
