First Lady Michelle Obama will be helping military veterans with an appearance on ABC’s “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition,” set to air this fall.  According to “USA Today,” Mrs. Obama will help build a home for homeless female veterans when she tapes her episode this Thursday in Fayetteville, North Carolina.  She will work on the home with Navy veteran Barbara Marshall who established the Steps-N-Stages Jubilee House program to reduce homelessness among female veterans.  Fans will get to see Mrs. Obama and Marshall’s finished project when their episode of “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” debuts on ABC in October.

The First Lady has made other appearances on popular TV shows in the past.  She has also visited “Sesame Street” and Nickelodeon’s “iCarly.”
