TV One’s UnSung is back for its third season and believe us, you haven’t seen anything yet!

TV One’s signature music biography series sheds much-do light on some of the most influential, talented and yet, somehow forgotten R&B, Soul and Gospel artists of the last 30 years. While Aretha, Whitney, Diana, Stevie, Marvin and the Winans have been recognized over and over again-there are several artists like Phyllis Hyman and The Clark Sisters who haven’t been as honored.

This season, we’ll dig deep into the lives of R&B songstress Stacy Lattisaw, soul group Rose Royce, funk band The Bar-Kays and disco sensation Sylvester. Airing on Monday nights, Unsung uncovers the hidden truth behind the fading of your favorite stars.

After monster hits like Car Wash and I’m Going Down, why and how did Rose Royce fall off the charts? Stacy Lattisaw’s Love on a Two Way Street was an early 80’s staple and she’ll tell you why it wasn’t enough. From the tragedy of Sylvester to the redemptive power of the Bar-Kays, Unsung brings you all the music you love and all the drama you never knew.

This new and exciting season will reveal the business and personal struggles that kept these artists from achieving the iconic commercial status they deserved.  Don’t miss Unsung when it returns March 22 on Mondays only on TV One.

The new season of TV One’s music documentary show “Unsung” kicks off March 22nd with Rose Royce. Then March 29th, it’s Sylvester; April 12th, it’s Stacy Lattisaw; and, April 19th, it’s The Bar-Kays.
