Vivian Green is ready for a fresh start thanks to E1 Music and the forthcoming album “Beautiful”.

Her first album since 2005’s “Vivian,” “Beautiful” was just confirmed for release April 6, 2010.

Led by the title track (“Beautiful”), the album follows Green’s departure from Columbia Records, where she released two albums.

Best known for the hit single “Gotta Go, Gotta Leave (Tired),” Green released her debut album, A Love Story, in 2002. The album was certified Gold and featured the hit “Emotional Rollercoaster”. Green has sold over a million CDs between the two albums. She also appeared in the Cole Porter biopic De-Lovely, singing a cover version of Porter’s 1930 song “Love for Sale,” and played Brenda Holloway in an episode of the first season ‘American Dreams,’ performing a rendition of Holloway’s 1964 hit “Every Little Bit Hurts.”

‘Beautiful’ is due in stores April 6 via E1 Music.
