Derrick Rose, Carlos Boozer and Luol Deng combined for 62 points to carry the Bulls, while only two of the Heat’s highly-touted Big 3 showed up in Chicago. Dwyane Wade poured in 34 points and LeBron James had 29, but Chris Bosh, who shot 1-for-18, mustered only seven for Miami.

Denver 89, Boston 75.

Newcomer Wilson Chandler came off the bench to score 16 points (three 3-pointers) to lift the Denver Nuggets (34-25) over the Boston Celtics (41-15) last night at the Pepsi Center in Denver.

The new-look Nuggets outscored the Celts 28-15 in the final period to notch its second straight win without Carmelo Anthony. Denver’s Kenyon Martin led all scorers with 18. Boston, who dressed only nine players because of two trades yesterday, was paced by Paul Pierce’s 17 points, six boards and three steals.
