There is not much you CAN’T say about R. Kelly. Whether Good or Bad, Business or Personal, one thing he will do regardless is put out music that people will enjoy! His latest effort “Love Letter” really gives you insight on why they call him “The King of R&B”. He left the club hopping, bottle popping, groupie knocking music alone and gave you an album worthy of critical acclaim that provides easy listening.

12. “Music Must Be a Lady”

If I am being completely honest I could have put the whole tracklist up and no one would argue. This is probably R. Kelly’s best soulful effort ever! He gives you a mature R. Kelly but its also moments on this album where he reminds you of Sam Cooke and Michael Jackson and his recorded version of “You Are Not Alone” is definitely a great way to pay homage to the King of Pop!

OVERALL…I give this album a 4.5/5! I was a little afraid that Kellz would be back with his “Old Guy In The Club” complex but this album is far from that! I’m willing to bet if you are under 25 this album isn’t for you. This album also may not be considered one of his best pieces of work because it lacks the Bump N Grind, I Wish, Fiesta mega radio play songs that he is known for. However its 2010, R. Kelly has seemingly realized that although his age bracket has changed his talent to do this thing called music hasn’t! If R truly is the trendsetter and King we all think he is, then expect the older crooners of the game to try to outdo this album. Love him or Hate him, R. Kelly is the man…Period.
