A protest in downtown Indianapolis on Wednesday briefly blocked streets as demonstrators called for justice in the cases of Dreasjon Reed and McHale Rose, two men shot and killed by IMPD officers within 24 hours of each other back in May.

The autopsy report for Dreasjon Reed was completed weeks ago, but the special prosecutor working the case has asked that it not be released to family.

New details obtained by Call 6 Investigates in the shooting death of Dreasjon Reed by an IMPD officer last month show that the officer-involved fired his gun more than 10 times and the gun found next to Reed’s body was also fired twice.

Recently obtained surveillance video shows the moments leading up to the death of Dreasjon Reed, the 21-year-old man killed by an Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officer following a vehicle pursuit in May.

The family of Dreasjon Reed asked a judge to release the names of the officers directly and indirectly involved in his death
