R&B singer Faith Evans has been charged with two counts of DUI stemming from her arrest last month.

The I’ll Be Missing You hitmaker was driving through Marina del Rey, Los Angeles when her car was pulled over by traffic cops. She was later taken into custody on suspicion of drink driving.

At the time, there was no official comment on whether Evans would face charges over the incident.

But earlier this week the Los Angeles city attorney officially charged the star with two counts of driving under the influence, according to TMZ.com.

If convicted, she faces six months in jail.
