Eddie Murphy Reveals He Will Star in New ‘Pink Panther’: ‘I’m the New Clouseau’

Eddie Murphy is set to star in a new Pink Panther film, where he will play Inspector Clouseau in a live-action/CG hybrid movie. Murphy confirmed the news during an interview with NBC’s Al Roker, revealing that he will be taking on the iconic role. The film will see the Pink Panther’s crew breaking him out of his animated prison for a heist job. Murphy is also currently starring in Amazon MGM’s “The Pickup” alongside Keke Palmer and Pete Davidson. Tim Story is directing the film, with a star-studded cast including Eva Longoria, Ismael Cruz Cordova, and Marshawn Lynch.
