Indiana Fever guard Sydney Colson is switching up the game and stepping into comedy. She’s making her stand-up debut at Fever Fest on Saturday, July 19, during WNBA All-Star Weekend.

Known for bringing energy and laughs with her teammates, Sydney is now taking those skills to the big stage with original jokes as the festival’s opening act. This is more than just a new hobby—it’s Sydney showing us she’s fearless about trying something different.

From NCAA champion to two-time WNBA champ, Sydney Colson has proven she’s got the discipline and drive to master anything she sets her mind to. Stepping onto the comedy stage during All-Star Weekend just cements her reputation as a true entertainer with range.

This is also a big moment for women’s sports and culture. It’s about showing the world that WNBA players are more than athletes—they’re whole personalities with stories, humor, and artistry worth celebrating.

Fever Fest is going to be a whole vibe. Hosted by Deon Cole, it features comedy heavyweights like Cedric the EntertainerLeslie Jones, and Aida Rodriguez. And if that’s not enough, the music lineup is stacked too, with performances from G-EazyBIA, and The Kid LAROI.

We love to see Sydney shining in a new lane and reminding us all to embrace our passions—even the scary, outside-the-box ones. If you’re in town for All-Star Weekend, Fever Fest is the move.
