One Dead in Single-Vehicle Crash on Indy's Northwest Side

INDIANAPOLIS – A person had died following a single-vehicle crash at an apartment complex on the northwest side of Indianapolis.  

Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to the Reserve at White River apartment complex, which is in the 2700 block of Pixel Drive, near Lafayette Road, shortly before 3:15 p.m. on Saturday.  

Medical personnel arrived at the scene and took the person to a hospital, where they were in bad shape but later died from their injuries.  

IMPD is investigating the crash. Authorities have so far reported finding a purple SUV that crashed into a porch.
