UK court orders singer Chris Brown freed on $6.7 million bail in assault case
US singer Chris Brown has been granted bail in the UK after being charged with grievous bodily harm for an alleged nightclub assault in 2023. Prosecutors claim that Brown used a tequila bottle to assault music producer Abraham Diaw in London. Despite not entering a plea, Brown was released on bail by Judge Tony Baumgartner, allowing him to proceed with his upcoming world tour, “Breezy Bowl XX,” starting in Amsterdam on June 8. The legal case against Brown will continue, with a court hearing scheduled for June 13 at Southwark Crown Court.
