Johnny Gill Thinks Stevie Wonder Can See After Air Hockey Loss
During an appearance on Shawn Stockman’s podcast, singer Johnny Gill shared a funny story about Stevie Wonder beating him, Gerald Levert, and Keith Sweat in a game of air hockey, leading Gill to jokingly suggest that Wonder may be able to see. Gill and Sweat were so surprised by the loss that they vowed never to admit a blind man beat them at a visual game.
“Why did this guy beat all three of us, whipped our a** in air hockey? I’ll never forget. Steve was the master of air hockey,” Gill told a stunned Stockman. “And I said, ‘I don’t care what you say, motherf**ker, you can see.’”
Wonder has not responded to the speculation, but Shaquille O’Neal also shared a similar experience with Wonder in an elevator, leaving him questioning reality. Back in 2019, Shaq said he once got in an elevator and was stunned when Wonder not only turned to greet him but also pressed the correct floor and exited on the right level, solo.
“I went and called every person I knew and told them this story. And they believed me,” Shaq said on “Inside the NBA” at the time.
