TERRE HAUTE, Ind. — A store called Meijer had to be evacuated because of a bomb threat.

A person made a threat at the store, which is on East New Margaret Drive, just off of State Road 46, on Terre Haute’s east side.

Officers say they searched inside the store twice, but they found nothing. Detectives say they will be working with officers to see if any resources are available for an arrest to be made. They also say threats like these are ridiculous behavior, and they are going to do everything they can do to make sure people are safe in situations like these.

Meijer staff members were let back in the store after 10:00 Thursday morning. The store is also reopened to the public.
