Megan Thee Stallion, Psy to Star in K-Pop Competition Series for Apple

Apple TV+ has ordered a K-pop competition series titled “KPopped” featuring Psy and Megan Thee Stallion. The show will have eight episodes where western icons collaborate with K-pop idols to reimagine their biggest hits. Megan Thee Stallion will executive produce and perform her hit song “Savage” on the show. The series will be one of Apple’s few entries into the unscripted competition series space, following previous shows like “My Kind of Country” and “K-Pop Idols.” Apple’s first original series was “Planet of the Apps,” which aired on Apple Music before the launch of Apple TV+.
