Passengers flying Spirit Airlines may need to cover up tattoos or wear more clothing for their next flight, as the airline has updated its contract of carriage. The updated policy states that passengers may not board or may be asked to leave if they are barefoot or inadequately clothed, including body art that is lewd, obscene, or offensive. This includes clothing that is see-through, not adequately covered, or exposes private parts. Fashion choices have been a recurring issue for air travelers, with some being denied boarding or going viral for their attire. Spirit Airlines had previously banned barefoot passengers and clothing deemed inappropriate, but has now specified further in its updated policy.
