Loved ones and fans seeking answers surrounding the death of Michael Jackson are in for a wait. “The Los Angeles Times” reports that law enforcement sources are saying that a decision over possible criminal charges in connection with the pop icon’s June death are, quote, “months rather than weeks away.” Authorities have met with medical experts and gathered extensive evidence to review. Charges aren’t expected to surface until 2010.

Michael Jackson — the world’s “King of Pop” — passed away suddenly on June 25th of this year. In late August, the Los Angeles County coroner announced that it planned to treat the death as a homicide.
