Well if you haven’t heard of Disney Plus it’s a streaming app from Disney almost similar to Netflix. It looks like this streaming service could be bringing back one of our all time favorite cartoons, The Proud Family.

Actor and comedian, Tommy Davidson–who voices Oscar Proud– said it’s happening. At the premiere event for 47 Meters Down: Uncaged, Davidson revealed that Disney will be bringing back The Proud Family to Disney+, along with new episodes. Davidson said, “Yeah, Proud Family‘s coming back. They told me not to tell you…” While he might be in trouble for telling all of us, many fans are excited about this announcement.

The Proud Family aired on The Disney Channel from 2001 to 2005 and also had its own movie. The cartoon followed the life of Penny Proud, voiced by Kyla Pratt, and her family.
