Many Americans are skipping their flu shots. A new survey from the University of Chicago shows more than 40-percent of the adults taking part in a nationwide poll have not received the flu vaccine yet this year. Researchers say most people cited concerns about possible side effects from the shot. About a third said they never get vaccinated because they don’t get the flu. Federal health officials recommend that everyone age six months or older receive a flu shot each year.
