To say it was a “good day” is an understatement for Amazon on Cyber Monday.
The e-commerce giant says it hit an all-time high of seven-point-nine billion dollars in sales yesterday. Items like the new Echo Dot, Ancestry DNA genetic testing kits and Michelle Obama’s memoir “Becoming” were among its top sellers. Amazon also said it sold more than 18 million toys and over 12 million fashion items on Black Friday and Cyber Monday together. Amazon noted its best-selling product worldwide was the Echo Dot smart speaker.
