Instagram is cracking down on fake likes and follows.  The social media platform announced Monday that it will immediately get rid of fake likes, follows or comments provided by third-party applications. Instagram says the move is an effort to promote genuine interactions and real experiences.  Several other social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter have come under fire following reports that Russian operatives used fake accounts to sway the 2016 election.
