LL Cool J is being nominated for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for the fifth time. The Queens native, who raised his family in Manhasset, joins first-time nominees Def Leppard, Devo, John Prine, Roxy Music, Stevie Nicks and Todd Rundgren. Besides his recording career, the rapper stars in TV’s NCIS:Los Angeles and also won the prestigious Kennedy Center Honor last year. The inductees will be announced in December. Other notable nominees are Janet Jackson, Rufus & Chaka Khan and Kraftwerk.
