With training camp getting into full swing, we’re still talking about last seasons big debate and to no surprise, Jerry Jones is out in front it with his position onthe National Anthem and a couple of other things.

Jones made it clear on Wednesday that all of his players must stand for the national anthem, and they’re not allowed to stay in the locker room.

Earlier this year the NFL adopted a new policy which demands players stand during the anthem, but allows them to stay in the locker room if they didn’t wish to participate.  The player’s union filed a grievance for the policy and the league agreed last week not to enforce it while an agreement was worked out.  Jones addressed the recent comments by President Trump, and stated the President’s position on the anthem isn’t helping them find a solution.  Jones also stated the Cowboys will continue their business partnership with Papa John’s Pizza.  The company’s founder, John Schnatter, has come under fire in recent weeks for using a racial slur during a conference call and recently resigned as chairman.  The Cowboys held their first training camp practice on Thursday afternoon.

What are your thoughts on any of this or do you just want to enjoy the upcoming NFL season?
