The 68-team NCAA Tournament field is set so now it’s time to get those brackets in order. Virginia was named the top-overall during Selection Sunday after winning the ACC Tournament title and moving to 31-and-2 on the season. UVA will play in the South Region. The other number-one seeds are Villanova in the East Region, Kansas in the Midwest and Xavier out West. The number-two seeds went to Cincinnati, Purdue, Duke and North Carolina.
Speaking of Purdue, they’ll play at 12:40 this Friday vs Cal St. Fullerton who’s the 15 seed in Detroit. Butler will take on 7th seed Arkansas also in Detroit Friday at 3:30pm. If Purdue and Butler can take care of business on Friday, Sunday could have a touch of ‘Hoosier Hysteria’ in the midst of the ‘Madness.’
