President Obama is said to have chosen a site for his presidential library. The “Chicago Tribune” first reported that the President and First Lady Michelle Obama have selected Chicago’s Jackson Park as the location. It was picked over another site on the city’s South Side, Washington Park. Jackson Park is near the Museum of Science and Industry. The Obama Presidential Center will house both a museum and library and is expected to be completed by 2020 or 2021. The formal announcement is expected next week.
