Roland Martin Slams Snoop Dogg’s Boycott On ‘Roots’
Roland Martin talks about Snoop Dogg‘s boycott on the Will Packer produced remake of Roots.
“Slavery happened. Slavery is real and too many Americans want to deny what happened in this country. Snoop Dogg says they shouldn’t be making these kinds of movies. I went on IMDB and Snoop has 85 television and movie credits. You have the potential to change the game but you want to complain? I’m sick of seeing ‘we want to see more stories’, but when the movies come out, we say, ‘no, not that movie,” Martin said.
