There won’t be any do-overs when the Panthers face the Broncos in Super Bowl 50 next Sunday. But there had to be one do-over already on the road to the big game. The grounds crew at Levi’s Stadium may have let their team preference slip while they worked. They painted both end zones for the Denver Broncos and none for the Carolina Panthers earlier this week. There was a whole lot of navy blue, orange and horse logos…yeah we know about it. The Broncos logo should have been on just the home side of the field. The mistake has since been fixed and now both teams will have their colors on the field when Peyton Manning leads the Broncos and Cam Newton leads the Panthers into battle. That Panther black and Carolina blue is now in the house.  (Really, can you imagine being the one guy on the crew who was being ignored by the guy with the spray gun?…but he kept tapping him on the shoulder saying, ‘Duuuuude, something’s not right. Ummm, it feels like we’ve done this before.’)
