Dole Fresh Vegetables is voluntarily recalling cases of its bagged spinach that was shipped to 13 states, including here in Indiana. This move is because of salmonella concerns. No illnesses have been reported, but Dole is taking precautions.

Here’s what to look for in your fridge:

  • The bags included in this recall are coded A27409B and A27409A.
  • The UPC number is 7143000976.
  • They have a sell-by date of October 15.

If you find a bag in your fridge, the Monterey, California company says to throw it away. Questions may be directed to the Dole Food Company Consumer Response Center at (800) 356-3111. Call between 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. PT, Monday through Friday.

See the bag and get more info HERE.
