Khalil Lundy and Steven Lundy are two of the members of the seminal 80’s group the Force MD’s who graced the world with their classic hit ‘Tender Love,” among other sweet ballads.
The Staten Island, New York based group, once comprised of members Antoine “T.C.D.” Lundy, Rodney Lundy, ‘Stevie D.’ Lundy, Jessie Lee Daniels, Trisco Pearson and Shawn Waters gets the Unsung treatment tonight at 8 p.m. on TV One. As you will see on tonight’s episode, not all those members are still here.
“It ain’t how you fall, it’s how you stand up. You’ve got to be focus, readjust yourself and let your story be told and keep pushing on,” says T.C. Lundy.
The group did their own documentary some years ago, but they’re happy with the Unsung treatment.
“We’re very excited for the world to know even better. It’s really exciting to us that we finally touch the base of Unsung so that the word can get out,” says Rodney. “We had a few changes in the group at times, but now everybody’s back together. It’s like a reunion tour that we’re doing. We had new guy come in, but it’s nothing like the original members and the original sound coming back even stronger with all those great songs we made back in the day.”
