Because ‘Empire’ was such a success, FOX adds a new Lee Daniels Drama. The name of the upcoming TV show will be called ‘Star.’ Sources say ‘Star’ will be centered around a rising girl group in Atlanta.
“It is modern-day music music in Atlanta and Empire is modern-day music business in New York,” Walden said. “It’s not inconceivable that the two shows can cross.”
