The actor who played gangster Moe Greene in “The Godfather” has died.  Veteran character actor Alex Rocco passed away Saturday at the age of 79.  Rocco’s daughter Jennifer reported his passing on her Facebook page.  The cause of death was not released.  Rocco appeared in several television series including “Starsky and Hutch” and “The Facts of Life.”  His other film credits include “Get Shorty,” “That Thing You Do,” “Freebie and the Bean” and many more.  Rocco also provided voices for “The Simpsons” and “Family Guy.”
