BET will honor basketball’s best with a new awards show. The network announced that it’s pairing with the NBA Players Association for the 1st annual “Basketball Players’ Awards.” The awards ceremony will tape next month in Las Vegas and will later air on the network. Winners will be selected by active NBA players. President of the NBA Players Association and L.A. Clippers star Chris Paul says they’re “so excited” to team up with BET and promises a “GREAT event.”
