Former ‘Cosby Kid’ Joins Cast of O.J. Simpson Miniseries

Malcolm-Jamal Warner is getting a new gig.  The former “Cosby Kid” is joining the cast of FX’s upcoming miniseries chronicling the O.J. Simpson murder trial.  According to Variety, he’s been cast to play O.J.’s best bud, former professional football player A.C. Cowlings in “American Crime Story: The People vs. O.J. Simpson.” Cowling was behind the wheel of the white Ford Bronco during Simpson’s police chase. Among the other stars on the “American Crime Story” roster are Cuba Gooding Jr. as O.J. and John Travolta as Simpson’s attorney Robert Shapiro.
