Central Indiana is under a Dense Fog Advisory issued by the National Weather Service until 9 a.m. Schools in the city of Indianapolis are for the most part dealing with the fog that has settled into Central Indiana this early Friday morning. However that dense fog is causing visibility problems in the outlying rural areas where there may be less lighting on the streets and roadways. Therefore for the safety of the students and various school bus drivers in multiple districts, many schools in those outlying counties and suburban areas are on two-hour delays this morning. Again, Indianapolis schools are not delayed, but several in the surrounding area are.
