Eddie Murphy To Be Awarded Top Prize For Humor

Eddie Murphy will be honored with the top prize from humor by the John F. Kennedy Center. The American comedian, actor, writer, singer, and director is mainly recognized for his early breakout on “Saturday Night Live.”Murphy, 54, will be receiving the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor later this year in October. The show is set to broadcast nationally on October 18. The Humor Prize award is meant to honor those who has an impact on society.
