Boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. may have witnessed the apparent murder-suicide that left dancer and VH1 star Stephanie Moseley and rapper Earl Hayes dead. Sources tells TMZ that Floyd was talking to Hayes through the video messaging app FaceTime when Hayes allegedly shot and killed the “Hit The Floor” star before turning the gun on himself. Apparently, Hayes was upset when he got in touch with the boxer, who supposedly tried his best to calm down his friend. Members of a Los Angeles SWAT team discovered the bodies of Hayes and Moseley after responding to reports of gunshots at a Los Angeles apartment Monday morning. The celebrity gossip network says Moseley and Hayes were married.

The tragic incident may have one positive outcome. Despite feuding with Mayweather in the past, rapper 50 Cent reached out to the boxer following the news. On Instagram, 50 posted a picture of them together and called Floyd his “little brother.” He also seemed to recall advice Floyd once gave him about never harming himself.
