Massive protests are taking place in New York City and Chicago Thursday night, the day after a grand jury decided not to indict a police officer in connection with the death of Eric Garner. In New York, thousands of protesters have shut down the West Side Highway and Brooklyn Bridge. In Chicago, police are threatening to arrest protesters blocking Lake Shore Drive, one of the city’s busiest roadways. Demonstrations are also taking place in Boston, Washington, DC and other cities.
