According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention there are 35 million people living with HIV/AIDS worldwide and 1.2 million here in the United States. Of that 1.2 million there is a new study that rates African Americans as being infected with HIV up to 8-times more than whites. In order to bring awareness to this deadly disease we must acknowledge, embrace, and get tested. It is very important for people who test positive to not be ashamed and throw it aside but instead seek help and get treatment before it is too late. Below are a few locations here in Indianapolis that provides free testing below.

The Damien Center’s Joseph F. Miller Testing Center’s hours are:

  • Monday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • Tuesday 9:00 am to 7:00 pm
  • Wednesday 11:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • Thursday 9:00 am to 7:00 pm
  • Friday 9:00 am to 2:00 pm
  • Saturday 10:00 am to 2:00 pm (2nd and 4th Saturdays)

The Joseph F. Miller Testing Center is located at 26 N. Arsenal Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46201.

We also test for HIV* at:

  • Walgreens at 3455 Mann Rd. the first Saturday of every month from 10am-2pm
  • Walgreens at 16th and Meridian the third Saturday of every month from 10am-2pm

*Please note, STD testing is not available at Walgreens testing locations.
