Taye Diggs will show off his vocal skills in the upcoming musical, “One Shot.” According to “The Hollywood Reporter,” the film revolves around a former Broadway singer — played by Topher Grace — who becomes a production manager of a new play. On opening night of his first show he struggles to deal with the crazy antics of the cast. Taye Diggs will take on the role of an over-the-top actor named Malcolm. “One Shot” won’t be the first musical on Diggs’ resumé. He’s performed in the stage and film version of “Rent,” as well as the film “Chicago.”
