Angela Bassett, starred on “American Horror Story: Coven”, which picked up 17 nods, including one for Outstanding Supporting Actress.

Kerry Washington:  for Lead Actress in a Drama Series for “Scandal”

Joe Morton: for Outstanding Guest Actor for “Scandal”

Don Cheadle: for Lead Actor in a Comedy Series“House of Lies”

Laverne Cox: for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy and “Outstanding Comedy Series” in  “Orange is the New Black” This makes the first out transgender individual to be nominated for an Emmy award.

Uzo Aduba:  for Outstanding Guest Actress for “Orange Is The New Black”

Cicely Tyson for Lead Actress in a Drama, “The Trip to Bountiful”

Whoopi Goldberg for Outstanding Narrator for “Whoopi Goldberg Presents Moms Mabley”

Chiwetel Ejiofor: for Outstanding Lead Actor In A Miniseries for “Dancing On The Edge”

Wynton Marsalis for Outstanding Children’s Program for “A Young Arts Masterclass”
