The legendary Queen of Disco is the subject of a new exhibit. “Donna Summer: Four Seasons of Love” provides an insider’s look at the late singer’s career through a variety of memorabilia including never-before-seen photos, handwritten lyrics, and costumes and gowns that Summer personally designed. The display opened at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles on Wednesday. Executive Director of the museum Bob Santelli says Summer’s career is worth studying. He explains that Donna was “one of the most successful female artists of all time,” who gave “credibility to a genre of music that had many skeptics.” Summer’s hits include “Hot Stuff,” “Love To Love You,” and “On the Radio.” She died in May, 2012.
