With the Miami Heat’s chances of ‘three-peating’ looking dim, LeBron James’ early endorsement of Dr. Dre’s Beats Electronics is paying off. The Miami Heat star is reportedly set to bank more than 30-million-dollars from Apple’s recent three-billion-dollar acquisition of Beats. The payout will come in a combination of cash and company stock. Apparently, James got in early with Beats in 2008, promoting their Beats By Dre headphones in exchange for a small piece of the company.

LeBron isn’t the only person cashing in on Apple’s purchase of Beats. Black Eyed Peas rapper is also reportedly set to make millions of dollars from his founding stake in Beats Electronics.
