As the National Weather Service is issuing a Winter Weather Advisory today for noon, many schools and businesses were already closed for the holiday on Monday, including federal offices, state offices, and ceased mail delivery. However the expected bad weather is impacting some schools that were planning to make up a snow day on this holiday. The Indy metro area is expecting a mixture of freezing rain, snow and sleet that will likely hit the area during the lunch hour, but some estimates say it could blow in as early as mid-morning.
