Teens Accused Of Hate Crime
Police in Johnson County are investigating a possible hate crime in White River. An African-American homeowner responded to a knock on his door Thursday night and found a three-foot tall cross ablaze in his yard. Sheriff Doug Cox said several teenagers are now being held in the case while Johnson County prosecutors decide if their act will be handled as a hate crime. The names of the teens have been withheld.
