Police and fire officials were called to investigate a suspicious package found Friday morning at the VA hospital on West 10th Street..
IMPD dispatchers say the bomb squad is on the scene and It is not yet clear what is inside the package.
More than 1,500 people have been moved from the area as a precaution. All appointments are canceled until noon and the emergency room is closed for the remainder of the day, officials say.
