The Indianapolis Children’s Museum, is hoping to ease the financial pinch of furloughs for federal employees.

This weekend, (October 5 &6), all federal employees will be able to visit the museum for free. You do not actually have to be furloughed in order to receive your free ticket, all you need to do is show your federal ID. Family members of federal employees are not eligible for free admission.

The Museum is also including all active enlisted military in this promotion. Their immediate family members will receive a 10% discount on their tickets.

“It is our pleasure to extend this free admission offer to thank federal employees for their work,” said Dr. Jeffrey H. Patchen, president and CEO, The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis.
