Based on the real life story of Christopher McCandless, a 24-year-old American Hiker who died in the Alaskan Wilderness in the early 90’s, Into The Wild chronicles his journey to find himself by living off the land and giving up all worldly possessions and money (a $24,000 savings account!) upon graduating from Emory University.
