TMZ reports that B. Scott is suing BET, claiming the network to be embarrassed and humiliated by the network.
B. Scott, an openly transgender person, claims in a lawsuit that after being hired to be the Style Sage Correspondent for the 2013 BET Awards. Scott states that after the first segment of the BET Awards, he was ordered to “mute the makeup, pull back his hair” and lose the women’s attire, including heels.
Scott claims that after being forced to change into men’s clothes, he was still booted and replaced by Adrienne Baillon.
SPEAK ON IT: Was BET in the wrong for asking B. Scott to change clothes? Should he have just refused in the first place? Does he have a case against them?
