Most Americans agree that technology is great – when it works. According to an online survey conducted by Crucial.com, 36 percent of respondents admitted to being so frustrated with slow, or underperforming, computers that they’ve resorted to yelling at their device. Almost 40 percent of younger adults age 18 to 34 said they’ve directed profanity at their computers and 12 percent admitted to physically hitting their machine when it was unable to serve its function. Seven percent of young people confessed to having shed tears of frustration while dealing with a computer problem, compared to two percent of those age 35 and older. The majority of respondents said the number one reason for their technology troubles came from viruses or malware.
